The Friday File: The longest straight line walk in the world starts in Liberia, and goes through Ivory Coast, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Niger, Libya, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and then China. The length of the walk is 13,572.50 kilometers or 8,433.6 miles. This trek comes close to getting your feet wet in the Mediterranean Sea at the Egypt/Israel border and in the Caspian Sea in Iran.
