Terrific Trump

Despite probably losing the popular vote, but with his vote totals within the margin-of-error of the polls, Donald Trump will be the 45th president of the US. Expect no rate rise in December and as Brexit showed, there’s no reason for a recession due to a political shock. His pledge to boost infrastructure and defense spending, cut taxes and deregulate will be stimulative and inflationary, thereby steepening the yield curve.
