September net employment was superficially decent at 119,000, but hold any applause. July and August were revised down 33,000, almost all growth was in leisure & hospitality and healthcare, and job growth is steadily slowing. Four years ago, it was 4.2%, three years ago it was 3.9%, two years ago it was 1.8%, last year it was 1.3% and now it’s 0.8%. No sign of rapid deterioration, just steady weakening.
