TAM TRAVESTY

When WeWork attempted to go public, it cited a total addressable market (TAM) of $3T. Uber followed with $6T and just recently SpaceX called its TAM a laughable $28.5T. But now comes Anthropic, reportedly preparing to claim a $30T+ TAM. For perspective, US GDP is $32.5T, Global GDP is $120T and the 191 tech companies in the S&P 1500 brought in $2.4T in 2025. Really? I’m getting off Claude ASAP!
