Perfect Paddy

This year, 49% of us are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, albeit in slightly subdued fashion, down from 57% last year, and 60%, the recent high, in 2018. Celebrants will spend an average of $40.77 on Guinness, corned beef and cabbage, Irish Stew, and other Irish favorites, down from $42.96 in 2020. Total spending will be $5.15 billion, down a frothy $1 billion from 3/17/20. Next year, spending will be Dublin!
